THE KRAY TWINS TOUR

In the East End of London in 1933 twins boys were born. Their names would become well known throughout London and the rest of Britain as notorious gangsters in the second half of the 20th century.

Ronnie and Reggie Kray spent much of their childhood and teenage years in Whitechapel and Bethnal Green. They achieved their first taste of fame as boxers but they are more famous for their gangland activities and crimes that included the murders of George Cornell and Jack 'the Hat' McVitie.

Eventually Ronnie and Reggie were tried for their crimes. Ronnie died in March 1995 and Reggie in October 2000 (after spending 31 years in prison).

By some they are remembered for their criminal activities but others espeically in the East End  of London remember them for generosity and friendship.

The tour will visit the site of the location of their family home where they spent their younger years. We will stop at many of the public houses in which they drank, planned and in the case of the Blind Beggar Pub where murder was committed. Stops will also be made at one of their favourite Cafe's and at site of the boxing club they trained at.
